Trayvon Martin death is a tragedy, not only because of how he died, but more for why he died.
As I listened to the radio, I hear callers calling in from different states about how this kind of stuff has been happening for awhile in other states and yet this is the first big blow out about it.
So, now because of Trayvon's death, some of us are chanting "No Justice - No Peace."
No Justice from who, the people that wrote these crazy new laws or the people that ignored and said “I anit worried about sh!t, what can we do anyway, their all crook it."
Well if you don’t know by now, Trayvon death is just one example of how we can be faced with whole lot of unfortunate and unfair ways and by doing nothing, has never helped our case. I will say this until I’m blue in the face, Please get involved
“By any means necessary” We don’t have to commit violence to get result, when we start with becoming registered voters and after we do that, we need to know who is running for what in our town/city then we get up and go vote in all the elections, in other words :”Getting Involved & Staying Involved” J
Let’s not wait for another Trayvon case before we decide to care, especially since Trayvon death has made us all aware in 2012 racism is still here.
Could we start with this route first, before we are so quick to denounce Peace?
My heart goes out to all who have suffered through this, the known and the unknown.
