Yo Listen Up

Riding in the car with me and my son, going to have fun, listening to the WPGC, as Flexx & Rane are honoring Dr. Martin Luther King by taking out time to discuss why the death rate in PG County is so high.

 As people are calling in, to our chagrin, this guy called to talk about robbing and taking people out, killing them at will, just so he could chill.

Now that was Real!!!

Then Reverend Al Sharpton called in and Rane asked about being a snitch and he explained the Difference,

That being sick of the violence against, is not a snitch, it’s one another tired of us hurting our sisters and brothers, people calling in with their opinions, blaming our government & how Black’s people could never be equal because of our mind set & that’s that.

I would like to remind all kinds, that attitude is not blind, it is all in the mind & how you spend your time.

Going to jail & trying to get bailed or sleeping in casket & going to hell or learning a new skill, that does not include drug deals.

So why do we have to Die, ask my son 2 I?

Because some are to lazy to try and once they do something wrong or make a mistake in others eyes it’s like kissing your dreams good bye, so it’s easier to take a life,  now your on the phone crying to your friend, sister, mother or wife,

Asking her to write and wait while you do life.

Is this what Dr King mean about his dream?  Na,

I don’t think even he was aware, that we would be our biggest scare and continue to hurt ourselves.

Where is that brotherly Luv like we used to have, like when we  see one another and give each other hugs, all we do now is judge, all of us.

Money & Power can change you within the hour, especially if you have been burnt before, thinking you can’t take no more.

All of these different clicks, kids thinking it's cool to pick, how much more sh!t,  Congress and the Senate tearing each other apart, after the Arizona  shooting, now they have a heart.  Going nowhere, telling us life isn’t fair, but when another person is robbed, shot or killed how are they different from the Hill.

If we spent more time trying to stimulate minds, I bet we would fine, Creativity in all kinds

Like drinking wine, without crying or having a ball without blaming it on the alcohol

The possibilities would be endless, if we could get pass the regrets like racial slurs from Rednecks & KKKs and stop Beating up Gays & Respect people ways.

 You don’t have to like it, nor do you have to care, but until then how are we supposed to get there?

Dr King said it all, by showing us How Peace takes the Biggest Balls and getting up when you fall.
