RIP Kelly, Your Boys Are Doing You Proud

Darlene, threw a 10th Birthday Party for Tyree because he told her that his Daddy promise him a 10th Birthday House Party when he turned 10 years old. Of course that was before he passed away last year. I was truly impressed in how the boys were doing since his death.

Darlene asked me to help her with the party not giving me any specific directions.

When I arrived on Saturday around 12:00 a.m.  The boys were helping her cook and clean the Collard greens. I decided to video tape  them but I did it with Darlene's phone and then my phone when hers died. So, I will only post what I captured from my phone. I think this is a great example of how resilient kids can be.

1st Time Performing Poetry In Front Of An All White Crowd

I went to this bar tonight for the 1st time and when I first walked in  I was surprised because the bar was sort of empty. The people that were there  listening were all white and the poems I performed were called Yo Listen Up & 2 Term Dream Remix which both I thought might get some hateful or negative responses.  I was wrong, they enjoyed it so much that they ask me to return next week with more.  Can you say Wow!!!!

ISAIAH’S 1ST Basketball TRAVEL TEAM Poem: FYPC

Isaiah’s 1st Travel Team Poem

Hurray

This is my son 1st time playing basketball for a traveling team.  Man, his game is going to be mean!!

Of course because he asked not to play, basketball on his off day, well, let’s just say, it’s wasn’t that glories day, when he actually played, Like watching that moment fade.

Not knowing what the outcome may be, when I see a need, I like to please, so passionate it sometimes scares me.

But in the end the team got a win & we me made new friends.  As our kid’s journey begins & the team disbands,

Remember this game is bigger than 1 man.  So play hard as you can & know Team work always wins.

Signed; Your Friend & Until we meet again.
