This is the time to let things play out and not get into a bout with the one person who is truly trying to help us out.  It is ok, to complain if you Gay or Jew, or just being you Tavis Smiley, but the things that I have been hearing you complain about is not worth the breath you spout.  Please stop this nonsense trying to put our President in a pinch.  As if you are the only one who really don’t understand, and please don’t blame this on being a Black man.

A man who paid a great price with his life.  My heart goes out to his family and I want to thank NAACP and Michael Baisden Show and all of the people that spoke on the show ESP Yeoman for laying it out so nicely.

  

I agree with all of you, that Capital Punishment needs to be abolished.

 One thing we could do is create a petition to start trying to abolish the Death Penalty lets used Troy Davis death as a propeller to have this abolished in each State. 

This is another case where we have to stick together for people like Troy Davis so that his Death is not in vain.

Dear Volunteers - 

Below you will find the updated information regarding volunteering for our "Party in Pink" event that will be taking place on the weekend ofOctober 1 -2 at Montgomery Mall.

The Society is looking for volunteers who are interested in volunteer for Saturday, October 1st and Sunday October 2nd to manage the American Cancer Society table along with assisting the distribution of gift bags to individuals. For both days we are asking for volunteers to manage either days from 10am to 3pm, which ever day works best for you! If you are interested in volunteering for both days please do inlclude that in your response.

Mr Cornel West, I have always been a fan.  I have always had much respect for you and what you do for the Black Community.  So, please don’t take these words the wrong way.  

As a Dr. I assumed that you were already aware of the propaganda that is currently being spread concerning our President Obama.

           On Top of this, you are on CNN telling the World, but you may think that you are only talking to the Black communityJ,” that the President is turning his back on the Black community” or something to that affect,

 Because he  is not doing the things in the order that you would like or jumping at your command because your helped him get elected.  At least that’s sort of what I’m hearing. 

Nevertheless, deep in your heart, you know you are wrong.  I could share some examples why that is wrong, but I really believed you already knew the answer.

However, I do owe you an apology, for calling you “A disgrace to the Black race”. Because I really assumed you realized how dangerous that would be to the American People.  But then, you  where are on CNN telling everyone “that you are looking for someone  oh, another Demarcate, to run  against him”, and that your reasoning for voting  for the President in “08 “  is because he was the only other  choice",                                  this is after you and the President are giving each other’s Hugs , -things - that make you say hummmm!J.   

To me that seemed like an underhanded downright deceiving thing to do too anyone, let alone the President of the United States, but you may only see it as “just a Black Man”- “New flash”,

This is bigger than that; this is bigger than President Obama, because President Obama can only do four more years.

          What the President is doing and has done has helped inspire a lot of people, people in all kinds of positions.  He has brought about a positive change more so, a renowned Respect to this country- tis- of- the.  He has done this during the bad times, with a bad economy and at the same time champion Peace at home and abroad.

That is either unheard of or has not been done often.  I can go on and on but   I‘m going to just ask you to really reread this blog and think about your actions, do you really feel  like being part of the people that are trying to sabotage us?  –One Luv Brother- MoPoDC

Are You Going To Let Them Take Your Voice & Your Vote Away? Call of Action

Have you heard the same people that are robbing this country blind have gone above and beyond to make sure your voice or vote does not count?  They are changing the rules so that we look like fools.  So, I would like to ask  all Parties that think everyone voice should count or want to see America prosper to stand up and help us get all the changes from each state and share them with your local representative or me.

We have to fight just as hard as they are willing to fight to be unfair every step of the way. 

If there are new proposals that we can write to counter their proposals then let’s get on top of it now.   We need to ask all Leaders in each state to step up their game.


Enough is enough we can’t keep losing to their unethical ways and not do anything about it.  If any of you truly care about our country, you will help.  I don’t care what you political party is.  I am talking those who love this country and believe in the possibilities that we can achieve so long as we do the things we need to do to combat these negative and  deceitful ways of operating.  This fight is for our future and our kid’s future.  Senior Citizen, Teachers, Veterans, and  Military branches, College kids, Kids about to graduate from high school, and middles class, poor class whatever class this fight is your just as much as it is my fight.

Friend -- This morning, the President proposed the "Buffett Rule," which would require those earning more than $1 million a year to pay the same share of their income in taxes as middle-class families do. This proposal makes sure millionaires and billionaires share the responsibility for reducing the deficit. It would correct, for example, the fact that Warren Buffett's secretary currently pays taxes at a higher rate than he does. The other side is already saying it's "class warfare" -- that's their rhetorical smokescreen for providing millionaires and billionaires special treatment. As the President said this morning, "This is not class warfare -- it's math." The wealthiest Americans don't need further tax cuts and in many cases aren't even asking for them. Requiring that they pay their fair share is the only practical way forward. The Republican alternative is to drastically slash education, gut Medicare, let roads and bridges crumble, and privatize Social Security. That's not the America we believe in -- but many in the Republican leadership actually prefer those policies, which explains their refusal to act. That's why they'll say "tax increase" over and over again, trying to muddy the waters and trick ordinary Americans into thinking the Buffett Rule will hurt them. And if we don't speak out right now, they just might get away with it. If you stand with President Obama in this fight and want to see the Buffett Rule passed -- say you'll get his back now. Of course, the Buffett Rule won't really touch most Americans -- only 0.3% of households will even be affected. And without it, the only way to reduce our debt is to savage the programs that seniors and middle-class families rely on. That's exactly what the President refuses to do -- in fact, he's said he'll veto any bill that changes benefits for folks who rely on Medicare but doesn't raise serious revenue by asking the wealthiest Americans or biggest corporations to pay their fair share. Today, President Obama stood on the Brent Spence Bridge that connects Ohio to Kentucky and spoke about how the American Jobs Act could help rebuild that bridge and thousands like it, and put construction workers and manufacturers back to work.

It has been exactly two weeks since President Obama proposed the American Jobs Act -- a fully paid-for plan made up of ideas that both parties have endorsed in the past and ought to be able to get behind now. A wide majority of Americans who have heard about the Jobs Act want to see it passed right away.

President Obama this week also outlined his plan to pay for the bill while still reducing our deficit. The American people asked for something Big from our President Barack Obama

Great interview- See below, now it’s time to see who really wants to see us, Americans prosper.  The American people asked for something big from our President Barack Obama and he came big.  The only hold up seems to be Congress signing the bill into action.  I’m asking everyone to pay close attention to what is about to happen now.

I wonder why?  Things that make you go hummmm.  Let them know that we need something now.  If not, we need people in office of like minded that wants to help our Country & our people succeed.   Like when President Bush Jr. was in office, the word at the time after 9/11 was if he fails we  America failed. One of the major differences now is that we have a Black President in office that seem like he really wants to help America be what  it was supposed to be. Should we apply that same rule of thumb  today like others did then?  Meaning, if you do not support this bill and his effort to get this economy going then you would be seen as Un-Americans.  If you are Un-Americans, than you should not hold an office in America.  At least that was the consensus when President Bush Jr, was in office.  Just a thought. What's up Fam What a crazy weekend Saw Chuck Brown  & NSO on the Capital Lawn 1^st  time in history, this type of event has been performed on the Capital Lawn.  The NSO did a great job honoring our past and especially rocking Chuck Brown last“Whined me up Chuck” & he did at 75 Yrs of age the man still got it. Happy Birthday God Father of Go-Go.

He took me back to the good ole elementary and high school days were  we used to drive to Cross Creek in Warrenton for Go- Go music.    Big Shot- out to Doug e Fresh for coming out to show Chuck's Love &  all the  others Go-Go's Bands and Clubs The Before & Afterward EU, Trouble Funk, Junk Yard, & RIP Little Benny You would have been Proud.
Now we wait to see who emerges as the next big Go-Go band sensation.  It's a lot of good talent in the DMV.

Changing The World Together

I remember when I first signed up for social media and the type of conversations and discussions that everyone was having.  I remember someone posting a quote on twitter that Love will conquer all and my response was we will see or in other words, time will tell.

Now I see and hear more and more people giving Honor to God on Face book and Twitter.  I see more and more people getting involved and trying to help.  Shout outs to Larry Power in Fresno County for giving up his salary to save jobs, and Ed on MSNBC and the volunteers in New Orleans for the free clinic  and Melissa and Rachel MSNBC for addressing the  Congressional Black Caucus march for jobs initiative and Rep Kirsten Gillibrand Bushwick   and   Community High School for helping our youth in New York and Joseph Lewis in New York and Velda Fleming in VA for project Not In My Hood, and all the other volunteers that are giving their time to help others.

You are the ones that put a smile on my face and give me hope that we shall overcome.  Thank you for what you are doing and have done.  

Hurricane Irene AKA Tropical Storm did a lot of damages to a lot of people, no matter what parties they belong to.  We all are affected by the storm.  It’s seemed as if it isn’t one thing it’s another.

Like the ones who wants to cut FEMA.  FEMA is supposed to help when we encounter disaster, but with what Eric Canter and party are requesting to make cuts even though they have utilized the government’s services more than anyone.  It’s as if they want all of us to live in constant turmoil.

Well, I am awake now, and it seems like more and more people eyes are being opened

The sad part is I don’t believe we have seen the last of the selfishness and greed of heartless people.    We may have a bigger fight ahead especially with this new bill the president signed during the Debt Ceiling issue.  Concerning the new group that they have established, if both parties can’t agree, then everything across the board could be cut. 

I am tired of certain people thinking they can do whatever they want because we are too dumb or lazy to care.  If we don’t change our people in office, then we better prepare for hell because that is what we may get with all this cutting sh! t. Even though they know we need this to grow in order to succeed, it still doesn’t over ride their greed.  So it up to you and me. 

The President keeps taking about Congress and if they come together after their extensive vacation, if they change their ways, then we will have a better day.  But what the President is not saying is what happens if they don’t change their ways.  Are we prepared to deal with the outcome?  Is he prepared to really and truly stand up and do whatever it takes to defend those that are not wealth?  Elections are right around the corner, and if we put people in office that will listen and fight for us, I believe those that lose their seat, will be able to see but only if it comes from you and me standing strong and working together to achieve peace and equality.

This is the time to be Solid more than ever, as a group and as We the People. 

We have to decide if we are going to coast and become ghost or show them that we mean business and their butts are toast.  We The People keep doing whatever it takes to keep the devil away.

Keep in mind, that there is always more we can do to help me and you.  Let’s be creative and show them, how it’s done with funJ
